Hey there, I’m Kelly McIntosh. Part writer, part designer, wholly awesome.

Having accidentally on purpose stumbled upon your posting for a Fashion Features Writer as I regularly checked TZR for an opening that would be just right, I knew I’d finally found a match. Alas, a job that could help me exercise my fashion know-how while utilizing my writing chops. You’d be surprised how rarely the occasion to talk about the preeminent death of millennial pink after Kim K sported it’s blindingly bold cousin neon pink, actually arises. How about a mistaken belief that Diet Prada is potentially a secondary line to a ubiquitous motherboard Prada? No? Maybe emerging brand Paris 99 is, for all intents and purposes, just a European location - spoiler alert, it’s not.

After years of finding Rachel Zoe a fashion source I can trust, essentially I consider writing for The Zoe Report a form of self-care and public service. I’d get to guide the ill-informed to the light while freeing my mind of the fashion concepts that run the gamut. With a history rooted in fashion design and over several years of writing experience, including fashion editor for a newsmagazine, blogging, and interning, I’d love the chance to interview designers, write about brand loyalty in the age of designer musical chairs, and debate if square toe shoes are worthy of their current cult status. My design background gives me the edge of knowing what to ask and look for, while my writing helps me express it in a way that's genuine and compelling.
